New York, NY — CBS revealed it will end “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” in May 2026, bringing to a close one of America’s most watched late-night programs and intensifying speculation over the influence of politics and big business in mainstream media. The move follows weeks of mounting pressure tied to the Trump administration and CBS’s parent company Paramount’s efforts to secure regulatory approval for its contested merger with Skydance Media.

TALLAHASSEE, FL, July 16, 2025 — Ghislaine Maxwell, currently serving a 20‑year sentence at FCI Tallahassee for her role in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex‑trafficking network, has been placed on suicide watch following reports that she offered to testify before Congress about a purported “Epstein client list.” Maxwell’s legal team asserts the move is retaliatory, while the Bureau of Prisons maintains it is precautionary.

Cooperstown, NY — The National Baseball Hall of Fame has quietly removed online biographies of several legendary Black players, including Jackie Robinson, Hank Aaron, and Willie Mays, from its official website. Critics say the decision came after mounting pressure from the Trump administration — a charge both the Hall and White House have declined to address directly.

Ft. Lauderdale - Ghislaine Maxwell, the British socialite convicted in 2022 for her role in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking operation, has issued public comments expressing bemusement over recent statements by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) regarding the Epstein investigation. Maxwell stated that she would have gladly turned over Epstein’s client list, flight logs, and accounting ledgers—if only anyone had asked her to do so.

Houston - The White House tested a new early-warning siren Friday during President Donald Trump’s visit to flood-ravaged Texas. The siren, described by witnesses as “ear-piercing,” activated each time an inconvenient question was posed during a live press briefing, effectively drowning out the inquiry and halting the proceedings.

The test coincided with President Trump’s tour of Kerr County, Texas, where he surveyed the devastation caused by catastrophic flooding that has killed at least 120 people and left dozens missing.

Austin, TX — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is once again at the center of controversy, this time for a proposed redistricting plan that critics say has little to do with electoral fairness and everything to do with restricting women's access to divorce.

Washington - President Donald Trump reignited controversy on Wednesday after making off-the-cuff remarks during a meeting with Liberian President Joseph Boakai. In a press conference following the meeting, Trump complimented Boakai's fluency in English before adding, “Maybe it’s not such a shithole country after all.”
